Storm Water Permitting

Construction sites are a potential source of pollution in storm water runoff. Federal, State and Local storm water permitting regulations are designed to reduce pollutants and run-off volumes coming from construction sites where clearing, grading, excavation and other land-disturbing activities occur. All construction project owners should apply for a storm water permit. Use the links below to determine the permit type for your project.

Online Permitting System

Permit applications and associated documents are managed through our online permitting system. If you wish to apply for a permit use the link below to get started. The first step is to register as a system user. Registered users may enter the system at any time to apply for a permit, upload plans, or check the status of an application.
NOTE: Please allow adequate time for plan review and approval. A period of 28 days is allowed by ordinance for plan review and approval beginning from the date of receipt of a complete permit application.
Exempt & Packet A permits: ready within 48 hours of complete application.
Packet A permit is a residential: Declaration of Responsibility.
Packet B permits: We make every effort to return a plan review decision within 7 working days of receipt of the complete permit application. If there are problems or corrections needed for the plan, the review period may be extended.
