We are located on the 2nd floor of the Administration Center, 220 N. Main St., in Kokomo. The office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm., five days a week.

This website is designed to provide you with information about our office, specifically, the services we provide to you. As a taxpayer, you will be required to contact us regarding all property transfers, splits and/or combinations. You must always notify us regarding your property tax deductions.
Please know that the Auditor by virtue of Indiana Statute is elected by the residents of the County and is limited to serving two consecutive terms in office.
For ease in understanding the Auditor’s Office and its other duties, please think of it as one office with four different departments and operations. Please click on Departments to view a more detailed listing of duties and responsibilities. It is a privilege and an honor to serve you.
If you are new to Howard County and Howard County is now your primary residence, please call our office at 765-456-2215 or come in to The Howard County Admin. Bldg., Room 222, 220 N. Main St., Kokomo. We will be happy to help you file your deductions. Also, please check with us or in the property records on this website to confirm that we have all of your allowable deductions on file.
